At Artisan Elm, we believe delivery should feel as considered as the furniture itself. Every order is carefully prepared, inspected, and shipped through trusted national carriers and freight partners to ensure it arrives safely and in excellent condition.

We offer free standard shipping on most orders within the contiguous United States. All delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on item type, destination, and carrier scheduling.

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days after payment is confirmed.

  • The day an order is placed is not counted as a processing day
  • Processing times exclude weekends and holidays
  • Some oversized or made-to-order items may require additional handling time

Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive tracking details by email.

Delivery Timelines (Estimates)

Delivery timelines begin once your order has been processed and shipped, not from the date of purchase.

  • Small parcel items: 3–7 business days
  • Furniture & oversized freight items: 5–14 business days

These timelines reflect typical carrier performance and may vary based on location, item type, and freight scheduling conditions. All delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Small Parcel Delivery

Smaller items ship via trusted carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS and are delivered directly to your shipping address. Once shipped, you will receive tracking information so you can follow your delivery at every stage.

Please ensure your shipping details are accurate at checkout, as we are unable to reroute parcels once they are in transit.

Furniture & Freight Delivery

Larger furniture items ship via professional freight carriers to ensure safe handling throughout transit. Most oversized deliveries are completed as curbside delivery, meaning your item will be delivered to the first accessible area outside your home or building.

  • Delivery window confirmation prior to arrival
  • Signature upon receipt

We recommend having assistance available for moving larger items inside your home.

Delivery Coordination & Access

To help ensure a smooth delivery experience, please notify us before ordering if your address includes limited truck access, narrow roads, gated communities, apartment or condo delivery coordination, or rural or ferry-access locations.

In some cases, additional carrier fees may apply due to access limitations or special delivery requirements.

Inspecting Your Order

Every order is carefully inspected and packaged before it leaves our facility. Upon delivery, we recommend reviewing your shipment before signing acceptance.

  • Note damage with the carrier at delivery if visible
  • Take clear photos of packaging and item
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

Please retain all original packaging materials until your request has been resolved.

Missed, Refused, or Undeliverable Shipments

Once a shipment has been dispatched, delivery is managed by third-party carriers. If a delivery is missed, refused, returned, or cannot be completed due to recipient availability or access issues, additional carrier charges may apply, including re-delivery fees, storage charges, return shipping costs, or applicable restocking fees.

These charges may be deducted from any eligible refund. Orders refused after shipment are not considered canceled orders.

Lost or Missing Shipments

If tracking shows your order as delivered but you are unable to locate it, we recommend checking with the carrier and surrounding delivery areas.

Claims must be reported within 3 days of the marked delivery date. We may request supporting details to assist in resolving the claim with the carrier.

Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship within the contiguous United States only. We do not deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO addresses, or P.O. Boxes.

Delivery Delays

While we work closely with our shipping partners to help ensure timely delivery, occasional delays may occur due to weather, carrier scheduling, freight network conditions, or other circumstances outside our control.
