This Refund Policy outlines how and when Artisan Elm issues refunds. All refunds are subject to our Return Policy and, where applicable, our Limited Warranty Policy. Refunds are not automatic and are issued only after review, inspection, and approval.

1. Repair Before Replacement Before Refund

Artisan Elm follows a repair-first, replacement-second, refund-last approach.

For any product defect, damage, or quality concern, we reserve the right to first offer a repair or replacement (in whole or in part). A refund will only be considered if these options are not feasible.

Customers who decline a reasonable repair or replacement solution may not be eligible for a refund.

2. Eligible Refund Situations

Refunds may be issued only in the following cases:

  • An approved return that complies with our Return Policy and RMA requirements
  • An approved warranty claim where repair and replacement are not feasible
  • A shipment confirmed lost in transit by the carrier
  • Items reported as damaged or incorrect within 7 days of delivery with supporting evidence

3. Refund Calculation

If a refund is approved, the final amount will be calculated after applicable deductions:

The final refund amount will be confirmed after inspection and is final.

Artisan Elm is not responsible for incidental or third-party costs, including but not limited to assembly services, design services, storage fees, or contractor expenses.

4. Refund Method

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Please allow 7–10 business days after approval for processing
  • Timing may vary depending on your financial institution

5. Store Credit Option

As an alternative to a refund, customers may opt for store credit equal to 110% of the approved refund value (before deductions).

  • Valid for 24 months from date of issue
  • Non-transferable and not redeemable for cash

6. Order Cancellations

  • Orders cancelled within 24 hours of placement are eligible for a full refund
  • After 24 hours, approved cancellations are subject to a 15% cancellation fee
  • Cancellation requests are not guaranteed, as orders may already be processed or shipped
  • Orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled and must follow the Return Policy

7. Dispute Resolution

If you believe a refund determination is incorrect, you may request a review within 14 days of the decision.

All determinations regarding product condition, eligibility, and refund amounts are made at Artisan Elm’s sole discretion and are final.
